Tropical Shipping Lends Assistance to the Keeth Arthurton Cricket Center

Tropical Shipping donated two 20-foot containers to the Keeth Arthurton Cricket Center to facilitate the construction of changing rooms and a covered seating area on the grounds of the Cricket Training Academy.

Keeth Arthurton, former West Indies batsman, founded the Keeth Arthurton Cricket Center in 2002 to assist children in realizing their potential in the sport of cricket and toward promoting the sport in St. Kitts and Nevis.  The Academy continues to nurture the talents of our youth and expand its reach, and will now see with the assistance of Tropical Shipping, some further development to their grounds to better enable
Mr Arthurton to create a training space conducive to excellence.

Tropical Shipping has been serving the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis for over 30 years with consistent weekly shipping services. The donation of the containers to the Keeth Arthurton Cricket Center is one of the many ongoing corporate and community activities that the Company supports/sponsors, which is in keeping with the Company’s focus on Youth Development throughout the Caribbean.

The management and staff of Tropical Shipping, through their local agent, Delisle Walwyn & Co. Ltd. applaud Mr Arthurton on his continued contribution to youth development in
St. Kitts and Nevis and encourage others to emulate his discipline, drive and community development spirit.
